About
I am beyond blessed to have my family by my side as I embarked on a new career journey in 2022. My wife and I have been married for nearly 20 years and have two children.
Six years after graduating from Dordt University, I found myself opening an office as an insurance agent for State Farm. In that time and contrary to what I thought a State Farm agent should do, I was introduced to Medicare and helped many clients enroll into Medicare Part D prescription drug plans. At this time, this was new to Medicare.
In 2012, I to moved to an independent insurance agency and was focused on property and casualty insurance, but Medicare planning kept calling me back. I remained in that role until 2022 when I decided that my passion was to educate people on how to more smoothly transition to Medicare health insurance, thus started Siouxland Medicare Planning in 2022.
My goal is to take the confusion and anxiety that you may feel as you approach your retirement years when you are bombarded by advertising to push you toward a Medicare option that doesn’t fit your needs. With my experience, I can bring a balanced approach to educate you on how all parts of Medicare fit together. I will assist as much or as a little as you want, but I will always remain available as questions arise.
I’m Kevin Verschuure. Since 2005, I’ve helped people navigate their Medicare options to fit their individual needs. I can help you too. Let’s talk.
